i love the fabric is it senegalese or ghanaian?  it reminds me of the "miniskirts" they wore in nigeria during the 60s.

sometimes certain patterns are not repeated and then there are commemorative prints--once they are gone they are gone, but the value of the fabric increases.    alway's try to keep a bit for history's sake or to resell. Wink

ack! thanks for the tip! there was a vendor who used to sell them at my local flea market for really good prices ($5-6/yd.), but he stopped coming around, and i have NO IDEA where he sells now. he had prints i'd never seen before (or since).
where were you BEFORE i used all of my favorite prints of his up?  Sad

the right side. after much tugging and readjusting, i remembered that i have a black girl's booty, which means that the back of the skirt is just going to appear longer than the front, unless i compensate for said rise in back and alter the pattern (which i will in the future. not now.)

Well, I've got a big asain girl booty myself. I like wearing skirts occasionally, but the back is always shorter than the front (because of said butt). It annoys me, so what I do is cute the back a little longer on skirts I make. It works nicely. And if my butt shrinks and goes away then I could leave the skirt how it is and it'll be uh...neat!
