I finally made my heart shaped ones! They're so cute. I used craft foam instead of felt though.
Pictures!
I'm making tasseled ones soon, my next burlesque outfit is all black and I decided that the silver pasties would be too much. I'll post pictures of those as soon as I finish them.

Oh my goodness, this topic made me so happy. One of my best friends is a gorgeous plus sized model, and I couldn't figure out what to make her this year for her birthday, this is what she's getting for sure, and I may just have to make a pair for myself, and figure out a costume around it!

couldn't you leave a hole in the centre for your barbell or ring? it would be totally hot if you matched the ends of your barbell or the bead in your cbr with the pasties too!

Honestly your piercing shouldn't matter-- the pasites are shaped into cones and so there's air space between your nipple and the top of it. Also you only need to apply adhesive in a ring around the extreme lower part so there's no chance of getting glue near your piercing either-- unless you're a little over zealous.

Over Zealous? *crosses arms over chest* that sounds painful lol. The reason I was thinking they might hinder a bit is because the bars are on each side of my nipple, so that would make them "larger"....but I am looking into trying this. It would be fun heh.

When I made mine for my bf's birthday suprise
, I got some of that sticker-backed foam that they sell at Wal*mart, cut the circles, and used some E-6000 to hold it in the cone shape. Then I coverd them with sequins and leopard print felt. They don't hurt at all to take off...not even like a bandaid feels and they're really sturdy but the drawback is that they're pretty much single use unless you have spirit gum or some sort of double sided tape.
