Thanks for the super easy tutorial! I think I'll make some for a gag gift for Valentines!

1) Your tattoo makes me green....*covet*

2) Burlington's not really big enough to have a wig shop (that I know of) but I'll bet that I can find some online.  How does it come off?

Two burlesques ago the girls were all using duct tape and were almost in tears getting it off...except me...because I had a breast reduction long story, no sensation...and this past burlesque I made these and used eyelash glue to keep them on.  I wasn't really sure how much I needed so I think I went a little overboard trying to make sure that they didn't fly off and land in someone's drink.  Getting it off was a pain because I had left my makeup remover in the car and it had frozen solid.  Ah Vermont in the winter.

It feels alot like a band-aid coming off. Not painless, but not quite as bad as duct tape.  Wink Also, its sticks veryveryvery well to fabrics and fibers(felt), you've gotta be extra careful trying to get it off. I used it on a prom dress a while back and it left the fabric a mite bit sticky, but it held up all night!

I googled "toupee tape" and it came up with all sorts of links. Should be easy to find a place to order from.

Thanks for the tattoo compliment. I'm glad other people like it as much as I do.  Cheesy

to make this on topic: pasties=very cool. although, I assume rather uncomfortable--but this is probably not the point?

off topic--grrloutloud, I checked out your website and my goodness, you have taken some gorgeous photography! I'm referring specifically to the "darkroom" section--the composition of the shots is very interesting and the subjects are very compelling. What I like most is that there is a realness, an everyday quality to them, and yet they have an artfulness that isn't often captured in photos that genuinely feel "everyday."

very cool website with a nice touch of humor, too.

They're not really noticeable.  I think if they weren't actually glued on and were rubbing against one's skin it would be a chafing situation, but as it is there's no friction to speak of.

Also, thanks-- that website is over a year old and the work on it is older than that.  The black and white work is from my Intimate Documentation show.  It's all work that is intended to show the beuaty in every day situations. I'm glad that it read that way to you.  My latest work is color/digital and I'm so totally in love with it...I think it blows a lot of my b/w out of the water.  I can't wait until I have a large enough portfolio of it and I can start shopping around for galleries.

Here's a small shot of one of my favorites:

These are to die for!!! Just came back from the fabric store - what a rush picking out dangle-y things and sequins and feathers! The sales gal did ask what it was all for. I told her, she blushed, but then kinda got into it when I explained it all. She yelled over to the cashier as I was checking out and made me tell her, too. The cashier also blushed, but then begged me to bring them back for show and tell. I do believe there's a bit of burlesque in everyone! Great fun. Will post pics soon. Too shy to model 'em!
