DIY Pasties Tutorial
You will need:
1 Sheet of Felt
3 yds of sequins
hot glue gun
hot glue
scissors
a sharpie
something to trace (parmesan cheese can works nicely)
On felt, trace the traceable item twice.  With scissors, cut the circles out.
Cut a small wedge out of one circle being sure that it touches the center point of the circle.  The larger the wedge the pointier your pastie will be.
Take wedge and trace it onto the second circle (symmetry!).  Then cut the wedge out of second circle.
With hot glue gun, run a line of glue down  the edge of the cut-out-wedge.  Overlap the other side of the cut-out-wedge-space and hold until the glue sets.
Beginning at the tip of your pastie cone, glue sequins.
Continue to wrap sequins around the pastie cone in a spiral.
...
When all of the felt is covered, cut sequins leaving about an inch long tail.
Overturn your pastie cone and glue the tail under here.
Make 2!  Adhere with either eyelash glue or spirit gum and shake your tatas.

If your username is indicative of you actually being in the UK, perhaps there's a different name for them over there...?

One of my friends knit some tassels a while back, but these blow them out of the water. God bless Lili St. Cyr.

Yeah, my total materials cost (including the glue gun) was about $5....and I have enough felt to make 8 pairs, enough sequins for 3 pairs (I got 10 yds), and enough hot glue for at least a third pair.  They took me about an hour to make 2 pairs.

I was thinking about trying a tassel pair, but I wanted to see how well these stuck first.  I put them on with eyelash glue and they stuk just fine.  I think tassels would require spirit gum...which I'm not really sure how to get off...

Those are fantastic! Let us know if you get the tassel ones to work. I love the cheese can, too!

Know why chicken coops have 2 doors?

If they had 4 doors they'd be chicken sedans.

Oh man, this made my day. I must make these. I wonder if I can figure out how to make them into different shapes. I really want some red heart-shaped ones.
