asparagus embroidered hoodie

here is the hoodie that i embroidered for one of my firends for christmas!!
it has asparagus over the heart because she is vegetarian - SHE LOVES IT!!
the asparagus outline is all hand stitched in satin stich

I know I should be commenting about the sweatshirt too (I love asparagus- more details, plz!!)  but I also am BLOWN AWAY by your mittens!  Am I right? Did you say you knitted that in a day?

yeah each mitten took about a day of straight knitting

and for my asparagus pattern i modified a clip art type image that i found on the net somewhere

I love the asparagus!!  I'm a nutrition major so I am always wanting to embroidery foods.  I was making a broccoli shirt.  But I became distracted, haha, as I often do.
