I hold the patent to the term "The Shocker" but only when it refers to two in the pink one in the stink. Not my idea, it came in a inheritance package when my father died.

So this is kind of a big deal.

ha ha ha!!! okay, gavin!

I'm about to order yarn so I can make these but I have a question- is one skein of both the MC and the CC really enough? I'd hate to be half-way through and run out. Has anyone made these yet?

I used a leftover skein of what I'm pretty sure was Caron Simply Soft for the black, and had enough to knit everything but one thumb (doh!), so I think that if you used a whole fresh skein you'd be able to knit the whole thing.  A 6 oz. skein should cover it.  The contrast color is not that much, so one new skein will definitely cover it.  I used some leftover yarn that had half or less of what looked like a 6 oz. skein left and didn't even finish it off.

Just for fun, and this will probably get deleted for being off topic, but he's learning to knit:

Newbie to Craftster here and this is one of the first posts I looked at. These rock and I couldn't stop laughing when I saw them. Had to show my husband, too. It took him a while to realize what it was, but he thought it was great, too. Smiley
