I used to work at a fabric store and we had these goofy aprons that we had to wear...but I liked them because they made it so I couldn't lose my scissors.

I decided to make a tougher version to wear in design class so I don't have to run from machine to machine looking for the tools that i left all over.

Booya!!!  I have the same AMAZING purple measuring tape!

I wish I'd thought of that...  I went to school for fashion design, and over 4 years I lost countless snippy scissors, needles & pins, marking chalk, and a pair of Ginghers.  :-(
Nice work!

Great idea, I definately need one of those. I've gotten into the habit of keeping my tape measure around my neck so I have it when sewing, but I always seem to lose the my scissors!

Really cool and smart too. I'm always misplacing my scissors.   Where do you get the purple tape measure.  I need a purple tape measure.
