thanks for the tutorial...i made one of these today...(wish i had a camera to show you)...used pink polka dot fabric and used a buttonhole instead of elastic (cuz i wanted to try making a buttonhole...i'm just learning to sew and that was something i wanted to learn)...and qppliqued a little pink felt heart....it came out really cute for my first go at it...thanks again!

I am just thrilled to say that I am making a case to hold the wedding rings at my niece's wedding based on this pattern!  They aren't going to have a ring bearer - the best man is going to carry the rings in his pocket.  I'm thrilled to be contributing something to the wedding and thrilled that I found this pattern.

Of course, I've made a few changes.  I'm making it out of cross stitch fabric and I'm putting their initials and the wedding date on the back in cross stitch, then making the front flap longer and tucking it under a ribbon loop.

I'll post pictures when I get done, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU!

That is adorable, I particularly love the bunny fabric! I made one today as my very first solo sewing project. I don't have a sewing machine so I did the whole thing by hand. I used snaps instead of elastic and didn't discover i put them on lopsided till i had slip stitched it shut. oops!
