That's crazy cuz the other day I went to the PO and DC at mine had gone down to only 50 cents!  I was excited cuz I saved 5 cents!

ETA:  I went to my post office today and noticed that now there's 2 different prices for delivery confirmation.  Priority mail, which is a tad more expensive but a little faster, now costs 50 cents, and first class or parcel post, now costs 60 cents.  But, with first class or parcel post your package has to be 1/2 inch thick to include delivery confirmation.  Dang, the Postal System is so confusing!!!

Yup, it did go up. Stupid postal rates increase! I remember when it cost a quarter to mail a letter and the postman in the tiny tiny tiny town I grew up in was okay with putting a stamp on the letter if you left it in the mailbox with a quarter sitting on top of it.

I received my package on saturday.  It was wonderful to have a surprise!  My boyfriend didn't want me to open it because there was no return address.  He was afraid it would have anthrax or a bomb in it...

Anyway, here's what really was in it-

This wicked sweet zipper pouch!  I love the bright colors, TOTALLY matches my style!  Thank you so much, secret partner!

Love the stripes. One of my pals here at work would try and run off with that...she is a stripe fiend.  Grin
