I've been meaning to post this for some time now. I'd like you to see the litttle red jaket I made this fall.
The fabric is a beautiful woolen deep red thing (even if it looks orange in some of the pictures, I apologize for the crappy photos).
I'm a tall girl with wide sholders so finding jacets that fit me perfectly is hard. This projetct took a good while to finish, but it was well worth it because I use it constantly. With a woolen cardigan under it works even if it's belo zero celsius.

Thank's for looking!

So lovely! Was it of your own creation? Or, from a pattern?

It's absolutely gorgeous!  The cut looks fabulous on you.  Great job!

Off topic:  I have a red jacket I need to put new buttons on.  However, I haven't been able to find red buttons that match, and I was afraid black buttons might look too ladybug-ish.  But your jacket looks awesome, and is not at all like a ladybug.  I'll have to start looking at black buttons now.  Yay, button-hunting!

Thank you!
Actullay Yes and No. I looked at a jacket from the sixties, with a nice collar and with slightly assymetriclal buttons, so I used that and went on by my self.

About the buttons: Mayby it might be a bit on he ladybug-ish side, but then I like the ladybugs, at least in theory. Best of luck in the button hunting business, I'm sure it'll go (and look) great!
