Topic: I Made A Skirt!  (Read 3679 times)

I know it's no big deal considering I've had my sewing machine for about a year and a half, but this is the first time that I've made something other than a blanket or a bag. I'm not sure if this would be reconstructed, though, because the top of the skirt is actually the bottom of an old long skirt that I hacked the bottom off of to make it a short skirt. Then I just added fabric to the bottom to make a new skirt.

I guess I could make a tutorial, but I'd have to think about how exactly I did it. I kinda just made it up as I went along. I'll try, though.

I don't know if I'm gonna sell it. I might try to make a better one and see if that one sells. This was just trial and error. But it worked out.

That's a pretty nice skirt for trial and error! lol I really hope you do a tutorial! I absolutely love the material so much. Gorgeous skirt..
