does anyone know a good way to fix an underwire bra? how do you put the wire back in and keep in from poking back out and stabbing you in the boob?

whatever you do, don't true super-glueing the hole at the end of the bit were the wire goes...it goes hard and itches like hell!

I'm so lazy...
I just pull the whole wire out.....
Then repeat to the other "cup".
But that doesn't help you, now does it...

I acctually do that to mine. It doesn't bug me at all. It's really quick and doesn't wash out.

yeah, underwire stinks, cause my dad shrinks clothes, so the wires break through constantly.

couldn't you try to close the fabric over it and stich many times to keep the fabric together? That's what I did when the boning came out of a corset I have.

Wow what a coincidence, i woke up this morning with an underwire stabbing my boob. My first thought was to come to craftster, but i thought it didnt belong! Guess i was wrong, haha.

Yea so i was just thinking i would stitch up the hole over and over again. Smiley

Well this is sorta off topic, but when I had my last breast exam, the doc said underwires are bad for your breasts, and that a sports bra without underwires the way to go..esp if you want to stay perky as gravity begins its awful toll.
