today i decided to make a black hoodie. so i got some black sweatshirt fabric and set to work.  i drafted a pattern from a hoodie i love dearly(got it for christmas, and have basicly not taken it off since) and quickly realized that i was not going to have enough fabric to make a hood.  hence the funky collar.  i also discoverd that i have lost my zipper foot, so the zipper is all wonky, but i enjoy it immensly( ever since finishing it about ten minutes ago)

me wearing it, before i put in the pockets

my bed wearing it, after sewing on the pockets. I think the lace really adds to it.

so, whaddaya think?

Oooo, I love it! I really like the way the lwer portion of the front is shaped, the lace is awesome, and the collar is rockin'!

I've been wanting to tackle a hoodie for a while, but just never seem to get around to it. About how long did it take?

Again, fantastic job!
