This is a new thread from the challenge page I posted.

There are so many of us video-gamers out there, and so many ways to craft Smiley

I can't host unfortunately Sad but if anyone wants to take this baby under their wing, I'm sure we'd appreciate it!

Yes! Thank you for starting a Nintendo swap thread. Count me in - this is gonna kick some ass!

It'll be my first swap, so I'm guessing I probably shouldn't host it until I've got one under my belt already. But if no one steps up, I can give it a shot.

*cheers for nintendo-ey goodness*

I would possibly want to do this. I'm not a die hard Nintendo or video game fan, so it would be pretty interesting to see what I would come up with. It's a good idea though.

barraGOUDA, you have to have participate in a swap before you can organize one. Just to let you know. Smiley

Also, I don't know if I could organize. Lots of stuff going on, because I'm already organizing a swap and participating in one and school and work, and life in general, you know?

Just thought I'd chime in though.

I love video games of all kinds, but for my crafty stuff, I'd like to get all old school Ninetendo stuff.  I guess that would just be listed in the questionnaire?  Either way, I'd probably be up for this.  If it was new school, I could even think some stuff up. Smiley

Whoops, of course! Thanks for reminding me. Wink

Question: would our crafts specifically have to be related to the 8-bit Nintendo, or would the swap be more open-ended? Say, if someone wanted a craft related to a Super Nintendo or Game Boy game? Any thoughts?

I'd love to do this swap, I love super nintedo; that'd be awesome, Donkey Kong is my favorite. But I guess we could do all sorts of video games. People could specify which games they like the best or which they fell most comfortable crafting for. I'm considering organzing but I've only done one swap I don't know if I can yet.

Hm.. I might be crazy up for this one. I'm charmed by so many video games Smiley

And I would be up for organizing, if no one else has their heart set on it.  I've never actually organized, but have participated in... far too many... swaps Wink So I have a good idea of what I'd be doing..

Any ideas of good start dates?
