This is my first post and I'm a little bit of a techy idiot so I hope all goes well...

I made a few adjustments to the pattern, substituted a more textured yarn, and put the tabs on the inside with button holes at the front, and button attached to the tab

Here goes *crosses fingers and holds breath*

wheeeeee success!

I just finished an Anouk for one of my friends who is pregnant, but she just found out the sex of the baby about a week ago and it will be a boy. Heheh, guess I got a little bit ahead of myself. I better get busy with a baby blanket or something. Wink

That's so cute, arameal! I'm having a baby girl in October and Anouk is on my long list of things I want to knit for her (once I figure out intarsia, that is). I love the colors you chose, especially that green!

I just used duplicate stitch instead of trying to do intarsia, and it came out pretty well. I've tried intarsia once in the past and quickly got fed up with all of the hanging threads. This would probably be a nice first project to try it with though, since it's a relatively simple design.
