So I did the silliest thing possible and told my friend I would help her make a Homecoming dress, only to end up making it all by myself with only crudely constucted measurements.  But we got all the funny details worked out and I think it turned out pretty well except maybe being a little bit short on her. She actually wore it to two different homecomings so at least it got used... ugg but I learned my lesson about just saying "no"... Roll Eyes
Here are the pictures... please excuse my disgruntled expressions... that dress was the bane of my existance!

and the back with TWENTY buttonholes for the lacing

ohh i made a dress like that for my prom 2 years a go except it was strapless and  where the red was it was black and then the white would be lavender and the  tie up was lace  i complete know where youre coming from though it was really annoyingggggggg to make

That's beautiful, I love the lacing on the back. Doing twenty button holes was definitely worth it. The dress looks amazing Smiley
