Legends of the Hidden temple!!! For some reason, I remember pretending I was on that show on the playground in elementary school. Sometimes I really wish I was 8 again.

haha it was my dream as a kid to get slimed...
and to have stick stickley read my letter on tv and play my favorite show!
(i always requested are you afraid of the dark)

haha oh yeah, nick jr used to be awesome also. i dont remember david the gnome. i loved allegras window, and gullah gullah island, and EUREKAS CASTLE!!

YES! I LOVED are you afraid of the dark! I used to watch it every saturday night with my dad and brother and sister, and it was OUR show.. Its always weird to hear that other people loved that show because it seemed like such a "my family" thing. Aaah memories...

Eurekas castle was my FAVORITE in kindergarten.. ohmigod i loved that show sooo much.

haha...and the stick stickley song.. I still remember it! I sang it the other day to my boyfriend because we were reminiscing about our childhoods.

I'm no longer a moderator, but I will always love June 2005 - October 2008

I got this in a newsletter I subscribe to.  I'd give the sender credit, but as far as I know she finds the icons online, so I have no clue who the creator is...but look!  Its stick stickley!

oh, solute your shorts...  ah, how I long for the old days...

now I have to make a stick stickley and see if anyone else remembers him!  I think I should tape one to my dorm room door when we move in.   Cheesy

thanks for the flashback!

Yeah, Stick Stickley!  We used to joke about how hot he was and how bad we wanted him.  ::sigh:: so dreamy.  You really caught his good side.

Hey does anyone remember Weinerville?  My friends all think I made it up, but it was like some kind of funky variety show or somehting on Nickelodeon.  "Weiner, weiner, weiner!!"

Who is this stick guy? It was probably on before i was born, or i was too young to remember. I still do remember some old Nick shows like pete and pete though!

OMG! I remember him! Now I feel old... I can remember most of the shows you guys mentioned too. I loved Pete & Pete, Roundhouse, You Can't Do that On T.V., Clarissa Explains It All, (featuring a tween Melissa Joan Hart, anybody remember her brother Ferguson who looked like he could be part of the Weasley family?), Salute Your Shorts, Rocko's Modern Life... Ok, I'll stop now.

ROCKO IS STILL ON! yay! its on the NickToons channel, we have it in comcast cable.
alot of the old shows are on that one too.

Stick is possibly the coolest Nickelodeon afternoon show host ever. He's a popsicle stick with an address and he was on for quite some time. He did an afternoon show (he was replaced by Slimetime Live, U-pick Live, etc) and would show all the old-school Nick programs. He did interviews with moviestars and things like that too.
He was just overall a really cool guy.
But, unfortunately, he's been off the air since the nineties. You were probably no older than five when he was taken off the air.
