The world's a roller coaster and I am not strapped in.
Maybe I should hold with care, but my hands are busy in the air

Beautiful!  Lovely fabric, and so useful.  I could do with making one of these - I'm always carting my sewing kit everywhere.

Yay that's too cute!

I have the same problem that all my sewing arty stuff is stuck in a big tool box or 4! Although i've finished uni now ( i did textiles too!!!) and they're just taking up space in my front room, but i think it would be cool to kinda use the same idea but maybe make some sort of hanging thing with loadsa pockets HuhHuhHuh hmmm brainstroming project for this evening i think!!!!!

hi meshell,

aussie aussie aussie  Smiley oi  oi oi lol   Cool

a very nice sewing bag. well done love it. Wink

just wanted to share my tip if you dont mind.

This month we had a class on making something like this at janome club.

She varied a little added a zip around the outside so nothing falls out, neat idea, just measure and use continuous zip with a a little fabric sewn to each end. she also sews a few short ribbons down the centre and ties in some of those clear zipper pouches you can buy for folders for schoole etc.

The best thin is you can swap with the project you want to take so you can have your stuff organized in different pouches and just choose what you need that day. good idea.

This would be good for a crochet bag too with some hook holders on one side.

thanks for sharing yours, loved it, especially the pink one. so cute.  Grin
cheers cyndiq
