yeah, i'm bring back an old thread.
because i never said how much i loved this idea.

but i started an i-cord to hold up too-big socks. and remembered this.
so i'm starting now.
i'm nervous because i'm using my caron simply soft remnants, and dpn 10.5s..so it'll probably be loose. but i get really tight when i knit with dpns.

yeahhhhhhh rambling.
but expect me back here soon to post my completed project.  Cheesy

I LOVED this idea, and I finished my own ipod headphones last winter....

then promptly stepped on one of the earbuds, smashing it to pieces Sad yeah, I know, super lame

this is a really cool project but I'm afraid I can't make that kind of time investment again considering how clumsy I am

that makes me happy that someone else thought of this: my dad thought he was the first.

Basic i-cording is the bane of my existance right now. I learned it, I hate it, and I would rather never touch it again.

But then I stumble upon this nifty piece of knitting here, and I'm very, very tempted. Okay, more than tempted. I'm smitten.

Do you see my dilemma?

People on craftster need to stop making such cool stuff....At this rate I'll never be able to create everything I want to create, without ya'll adding to the "to do" pile. Grrrr.

That is a really clever idea.  This is why I love this forum so much Cheesy!

Well I don't own and iPod / MP3 player or even a good pair of ear bud headphones I will certainly be trying this out when I do.  It makes them look very bohemian!

I just wanted to say that i love this idea. I can't knit, at all. I'm an ok crocheter so I tried a crocheted version. You can see it here. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
