I didn't...I'll check on my camera to see if I took a pic. They were TINY, just teeny wet felted beads for cherries and leaves, and a bead for the stem. Beads are the only things I've made so far.

ETA: Found 'em!
These are both for swaps, the little cherries are felt, and the beads (the little packets are tiny packs of roving so my swap partner could give it a try). My first felted things ever! Nothing that special, but they were fun!

Tiny is good.  No felt is insignificant.  IMHO!!  Oh yes.  if you have the pic it would be great in the felted ball topic, if you don't want to start your own thread.

Batgirl,  way to go!!  the bugle bead stem for the tiny cherries is a great idea.  Those are so sweet.  Thanks for getting them out of the camera and sharing.

Laamissa.  Thank YOU for getting me going on the hearts.  Once one was done, it was easy to keep rolling.  Crafty Kate is the original idea person for the cape clip.  She suggested that in the "ideas for Jan feltalong" topic.  Sounded good to me- still need to get those alligator clips.  Always happy to bring smiles.  Thanks so much.

I am so excited! I had the whole weekend off, and I finally made it to Crafty Planet to stock up on felting supplies! I decided to start from square one and do the first 2 felt along projects. I had a blast! I will now be ready to join in project 3! Here are my first 2 projects. What fun! I should say, Teamwang & GraceO, I apologize but I totally copied your lovely little zen slurp. He's just so darned adorable! I promise to generate my own ideas in the future, but I was concentrating on the technique, and it saved me having to drive to the North Woods to bug-nap the original!  Wink  So, without further ado...my first soap and my zen slurp imposter:

For the soap I used some mysore sandal soap I got in a swap from Crafty_Dame, it smelled heavenly when I was working on it!

Thank you SO much for this felt along! I was a little intimidated by felting but thanks to you all I am hooked!!

Oh yes, he is on my night stand.  And has been for some time.   I am so embarrassed.  I truely thought I pm'd you when he arrived.  Please accept belated heaps of thanks.  He loves our frigid temps because he is so fine and wooly.   -----GraceO slinks off to hide her head in shame.

Batgirl, your zen slurp bug is adorable too.

batgirl your bug and soap look so nice - love the color on the soap and the bug is very cute. Thanks for posting your pic's - love seeing what everyone comes up with.

I tried the soap but tried to rush the drying - so thought oh a nice warm oven ought to work so turned on really low and stuck my felted soap in there with the door slightly open - home crafted goatmilk soap - lemon drop - smells wonderful - seemed to be working pretty good - then the soap started getting mushy but I didn't get what was happening just thought the wool was extra wet in the middle - duh it finally dawned on me that I was melting the soap - oh yeah I remember now that is how you rebatch soap. :-P

so my soap is felted but it has soap infused into the wool so it's not near as pretty.
