Am I just dumb or am I missing something? I'm trying to start the fair isle chart on the sleeves, but the numbers don't want to work out with the chart. The chart repeat is 5 sts, but I have 32 sts on my needles. If I follow the chart, I've got the last stitch being the CC1. This won't look good when seamed will it? Should I rip out the first row and have the first and last sts of the sleeve be in St st? I've searched the boards and the SnB site and didn't find any info on this. Apparently I'm the only one who isn't getting it. Please help asap. I really want to get this finished!!! I'm loving it!

edited to say....duh! I just had my aha! moment. ok, thanks for reading and sorry to waste your time!  Roll Eyes

Allow for one extra stitch in the main colour at the edges before and after you start with the chart. Then it should work out just fine.

Happy fair isle-ing! I just finished my sleeves and am about to join them to the bod!
