Is anyone on here using the oscommerce software package?
Its the open source e commerce solution you get at sourcefoge.net.  I think it would help me make my site "scaleable"  - in that in the future I want to have multiple vendors on my page and that package should help make it easier...
Anyone using it?

OR

Anyone who does multiple vendors using something ELSE  I should know about?

I'm just going to bump this since my host has the option to install this cart on my website. Has anyone used it before?

oscommerce came free with my webhosting... it's not software really, for me... I went to the oscommerce website to edit it. I spent about 4 hours clicking... and clicking... and getting nothing. For the life of me I could not figure it out. I'm fairly knowledgeable when it comes to computers and programs and figuring things out, but this one baffled me. I couldn't even find a "help" page. I managed to add a product or two to my catalog... but I could not figure out how to edit the store page or the shipping info or anything else. I finally gave up.

Yea... I'm sticking with paypal.
