Hi everyone, I've been lurking here soaking in the craftiness and getting lots of inspiration so I thought I'd share my first ever sock monkey with you. I'd never even heard of sock monkeys til looking on craftster.
I'm in my uni's Astronomical Society, known as Astrosoc, so when I heard of sock monkeys, the logical thing to do was make an Astrosoc(k) monkey! Wink
Here he is sitting on my knee

He has a tshirt just like the human members of the society, with his name on the back

So, I hope you like him, and thankyou everyone for inspiring me! I've got loads more craftster inspired projects battling for my attention  Grin

Thanks for the great comments guys! Smiley

ForevrBee: I used some starry socks I found in a British clothes shop called Primark. All their clothes are dirt cheap and crying out to be craftster-ised! But not much help for you guys across the pond I'm afraid.

I puffy heart sock monkeys! And they are so much cooler when they aren't made from the "proper" socks.
This is great!
