Rock People

Wanted to share the Rock People project with you all in case you wanta try one.
I bought the rocks at walmart as well as the glue I had a whole shoe box full of different kinds of glue before I ended up using this one called future glue for the arms as it glued them instantly together and I would make the arms first and set them aside. To make the bodies I stated with the feet and worked my way up using 1 minute apoxie glue. Once I chose the rock I wanted to use I would mix and then set and hold the rock inplace untill apoxie was set and went on the next and so forth.  I gave them as Christmas gifts but all of them ended up with a broken arm so maybe should have used apoxie for all. The thing is you need a fast dry glue that will let you create and will glue rocks together. There maybe a better glue out there but I never found it. I used little googley eyes from walmart. They really are cute in person here some photos.
I also made Dominoe People with the apoxie but sorry I do not have photo of them
I used googley eyes on them as well.

Thank-You, I used brush on Future Glue to make the arms and 1 minute super poxy glue for the bodys bought them at Walmart. Have fun

Just to clarify, if you are looking for this glue, it's spelled epoxy.  It is a two part glue, that you mix together when you are ready to use it.  It sets up very quickly, so that you don't have to sit around holding things together for days    Unfortunately, it's pretty toxic, so make sure you have plenty of ventilation when using it!

You can get it at any hardware store, and probably most craft, department, or even some grocery stores, as it is very common.

Love the rock people.  Sooo cute!  I have a bunch of big flat glass marbles (I think they are used in vases) that I can make people out of.  Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank-You,  I was inspired by the fact that when we went camping while hanging around by the river alot of people and me make rock things. Piling rocks on top of one another all day long untill a whole city takes place alot like building a sand castle sorta thing. Remember you can make a Domino person too I did a few aswell. Enjoy
