I wasn't sure where to put these, but I was looking through my tear off pinup calendar for 2005 (which I never tore off, wanted to save them for craft projects!) and I found these two lovely ladies. Maybe someone could use them for an iron on transfer or decoupage...

They're very funky.

I have a small bedside table that needs a new look (The original decoupage, although pretty has become a tad scruffy) These would be perfect to start me off  Cheesy

Those are 2 of my favorite Gil Elvgren paintings! He's my favorite ever pin up artist. You can get a lot of his stuff commercially, too, like calendars, stationery, etc. He does amazing work. His facial expressions fascinate me.

*sorry for the gush. can you tell I like pin-ups?*

Know why chicken coops have 2 doors?

If they had 4 doors they'd be chicken sedans.

The artist who did this one went to school where I did, in lil' ol' Nebraska:

i used the sewing one on a thread holder.  there are a few others i've used for my craft stuff.  i got a gift basket thing a few years ago and it had this ugly lid with pine trees on it, so i painted over it and decoupaged some of my calendar pages on it: a pin-up modelling a corset, a pin-up cutting some fabric, and a pin-up playing with mannequin pieces.

Thank you for the post, I actually see a pic of the first girl and loved it but forgot where I saw it.  I am thinking of trying my hand at decoposing (?) myself.  I will have to check out some more of his work.
