I wasn't sure where to put these, but I was looking through my tear off pinup calendar for 2005 (which I never tore off, wanted to save them for craft projects!) and I found these two lovely ladies. Maybe someone could use them for an iron on transfer or decoupage...

They're very funky.

I have a small bedside table that needs a new look (The original decoupage, although pretty has become a tad scruffy) These would be perfect to start me off  Cheesy

Those are 2 of my favorite Gil Elvgren paintings! He's my favorite ever pin up artist. You can get a lot of his stuff commercially, too, like calendars, stationery, etc. He does amazing work. His facial expressions fascinate me.

*sorry for the gush. can you tell I like pin-ups?*

Know why chicken coops have 2 doors?

If they had 4 doors they'd be chicken sedans.

i used the sewing one on a thread holder.  there are a few others i've used for my craft stuff.  i got a gift basket thing a few years ago and it had this ugly lid with pine trees on it, so i painted over it and decoupaged some of my calendar pages on it: a pin-up modelling a corset, a pin-up cutting some fabric, and a pin-up playing with mannequin pieces.

Thank you for the post, I actually see a pic of the first girl and loved it but forgot where I saw it.  I am thinking of trying my hand at decoposing (?) myself.  I will have to check out some more of his work.

Thank you so much, I've been looking for the knitting pinup for a long time! That's going on a t-shirt...

She ran down the forest slope.
The forest of talking trees,
They used to sing about the birds and the bees.
The bees had declared a war,
The sky wasn't big enough for them all.

I love that site. my boyfriend and i chose nine pin up girls, printed them out on photo quality paper and then framed them and hung them up on our wall. They look so beautiful! And not perverse in teh slightest! HURRAH!

I made a pinup calendar for my bf for valentine's day, and used those as a starting point for two of the months. I made one with a half-knit sweater and one where I'm "taking measurements" for sewing, both where I am "accidentally" showin' my gams or bra, hee hee hee!

Gil Elvgren is the man. Sexy doesn't have to be busting out everywhere; I love how his work seems so naughty even though it shows less than the average bikini in most cases.

When I moved, my calendar (Bill Elvgren) "mysteriously" dissapeared...I had this exact one.  I was so heated!  I had a few I tore off and scanned so I could use them later.
I'm a decoupage whore, so I used mine to decorate a cigar box purse I made for my best friend.
