The poppies on the fabric must be opium poppies, 'cos I feel high when i wear it. I got the fabric from my late grandma's stash (a bittersweet project), it's pretty sheer and limp, so i made a red crinoline to go underneath it. I'd say there are about 3 yards of fabric, gathered and sewn to a red satin waistband (sorry you can't see it, the ol' man has only so much patience for taking pics of me spinning around the livingroom Smiley  )

I've only posted one or two things before today, so i'm sorry about the pics.... I've been linking to the pics on my blogger page - should I not do this? The link to my blog - with more pics - is http://www.velvetelvitron.com
Agin, sorry it didn't work right off. the pics show from my computer, so could it be something that varies from computer to computer? Please help!

here's another try at linking to blogger - maybe I need to resize prior to posting? Hope this works.http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/1454/530/320/4skirt1.jpg http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/1454/530/320/4%20skirt%20back.jpg   http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/1454/530/320/4spinskirt.jpg

i can see it now.  i don't think it was anything you did that made them not work.  it happens quite a bit to me on here.  i can see some people's images, and others i have to put in the URL by hand.

I looked up the pictures in your blog. This fabric is amazing and your skirt turned out very beautiful! Plus, the style of the skirt complements the weight of the fabric very well.
