No, puffalumps were just stuffed animals with that windbreaker material.
Popples had pouches on their backs and could be pulled out of them.

Thank you for that clarification.

That is such an amazing idea, still in love with it.

Might be squicky to some, but it's a part of life!

Wow--that's, like, taking the concept of a "baby doll" to a whole new level. Rock on!
And I think it's gorgeous--such detail! I think the sculpey head would have looked a little too creepy--the way the face looks as is, is quite impressive.

and while I admit, it is a teeny bit disturbing to look at, the real popples look like they were much *much* creepier...at least, from the link somebody provided. popples never made it into my little world.

"Squicky"... nice. Cheesy

Thanks for your compliments; Fetus Popple will surely grow into a caring, well-adjusted adult in such a supportive environment.  The sculpey head would almost definitely look creepier, but I feel like I could have been more accurate, and whatever the material, human faces are pretty creepy and alien-like at that point.

WOW. Amazing work! So realistic! So intense!

Love love LOVE it!

I wish that we had one of these at my old job ( I worked at the women's health clinic)- it would have been perfect!
