I made this using 2 1/2 skeins of the Southwest Trading Company's 100% Bamboo yarn on #6 circular needles.  It felt like I was literally knitting with DMC Floss!!!  It's about 6 feet long, so it drapes nicely as a scarf and wrap.  I doubled the increase portion.

The material is beautiful, wonderfully soft to the touch, and light.

I'm giving it to my bestfriend for her birthday on Tuesday. I'll post a pic of her wearing it Smiley

The colours on that yarn are amazing.  They really go well with the pattern.

The pattern is here:

The bamboo clapotis is so much drapier than the wool ones I've seen. Good job!

That's absolutely beautiful. You chose colours I would have chosen.

I keep wanting to make this, but I'm trying to find the right yarn for it (that doesn't cost a fortune, sigh).

I love your clapotis---and I love the idea of knitting it in bamboo yarn. Awesome!

AMAZING. Was the yarn super hard to work with? You said it was like DMC floss, but I'm wondering just how bad that is...
