Sometimes I can't find clay posts because I don't know where to look.
flyleaf_lvr, currently the only way to find posts that have to do with polymer clay (because they're scattered
all over craftster!) as far as I know is to do an "Advanced Search."
Set the number of
Between days for as many just-previous-days you want to cover (or have elapsed since the last time you searched for clay)
...then type the word
clay into the
Search For box.
...the next box can be left as "Match All Words" because as far as I can tell, that feature doesn't work
...click in the
Check All box at bottom left
...(none of the other windows needs to be filled in).
...then click Search
Then wait. . . because often the search takes a lo-o-ong time, or sometimes it doesn't work at all.
Doing that usually brings up all the posts with the word clay in it** for the time you've selected, but you'll probably also get a few lists of posts dealing with other clay topics (like terracotta clay pots, or ceramic/kiln-fired clay, etc.). They're usually easy to tell though.
Btw, you'll also need to do separate searches for the words
Fimo and
Sculpey since
Match Any Word doesn't work, and since lots of people don't know the term "polymer clay." You'll probably miss a few posts this way because Sculpey may be spelled Sculpy or Sculpty, etc., but you'll get most of them.
**occasionally, posts on another word/topic entirely will be brought up as search results (posts having to do with
belt or
inkjet are a few I've gotten while searching for
clay 
)... just ignore those results, and do the search again.
