I'm probably 80% finished on a wrap cardi along the lines of knitty's arisaig.  (It looks just like that sweater, but I haven't followed a pattern.  I wanted to knit it top down.)  Anyway, I tried on the work in progress last night and have the sneaking suspicion that it makes me look rather....wide.   Undecided

Has anyone else had this experience with a wrap cardi that they have made?

The sweater is turning out beautifully, but I won't wear it much if it makes me feel fat.

Just looking for some feedback.
Cheers.

I made the Lucky Clover wrap from SnBN and it doesn't make me look any wider, but then again, I alter all sweater patterns so that they have a pronounced hourglass shape and extra length.

My website is coming together nicely! Please send me feedback, as I don't know how well it works on systems other than mine.

Also, I have a blog at  http://neglectedblog.blogspot.com/

Yeah...I think if I just make it longer, that may take care of things.
