I know this is an old post, but thank you so much for the tutorial! I've been looking for a cosplay-style beanie pattern for a while so I can make a Stitch (from Lilo and Stitch) hat to wear when the hood is down on my kigurumi pyjamas  Tongue I'll definitely be attempting a totoro after seeing how the first hat goes- He was one of my first introductions to anime and I'm really happy to see how iconic the big guy (still) is  Smiley
