1. What animal could you use if somebody happened to have an X in their name?
2. Do you think it's possible to make one without sewing?

1. You could do a Xenops. It's a small bird. (That's what I would do anyways.. hehe)

2. You could probably use fabric glue. I actually glued most of the pieces on and then just stitched afterwords. It was a hassle having the pieces slide around, but the glue worked nicely. I'm not sure how strong it would be with just glue...but you could at least try it out.

This is absolutely one of the best projects I have ever seen! I can't believe the time and effort you put into this book and as soon as your daughter is old enough to realize the love you put into it, I think she will hug you for at least 3 days! My boyfriend thinks it is incredible too and he said if I decided to make one, he'd draw any little animal I want. Haha. I am definately going to attempt one of these in the near future.

Amazing job and if you ever do anything else like this, and I think I speak for everyone when I say this, we'd all LOVE to see it!!  Grin Grin Grin

What a beautiful special gift that is - I'm sure that will become a prized possession when she's old and sentimental like me Wink

Yours is PERFECT.  I am making two books at the moment.  Thanks for the inspiration.  Do you think you could make a tutorial on the binding part please?

Does anyone know any "N", "A", and, "J" words?  I need them soo badly!  One name has 3 A's and 2 N's.  And J is just plain hard...Jellyfish is all I have.  Thanks so much.
