I'll take two. I think when we do signups, we will give you the choice of taking one or two partners. Some people may only want one.

Two sounds good to me too! The recons go pretty fast, and once I get on a roll I don't want to stop.
I've got a huge stash of altoid tins just waiting for makeovers.

OK, we got all excited and will be posting signups later today. We will only be running them through next Thursday night, though, so don't delay. Partners will be posted on Friday, and you will have two weekends in which to craft your little heart out. You know you want to join! Be thinking about whether you want one or two partners, and which five themes you will choose. If you decide on two partners and would be unhappy if each partner picked the same theme to craft, you can make two separate lists and we will send one to each partner. That way you won't get duplicate themes.

To reiterate, you will be crafting an Altoid tin based on a theme chosen by your partner. You will fill it with things relating to the same theme. That is all you're allowed to send: one tin, filled with goodies.

We'll post back here when signups are up.

Gosh, I love the sound of this! Unfortunately though, we don't get altoid tins in this merry old country of rain and mud*. Or even tins. Everything is in plastic boxes. Gah.

Oh well. I'll just have to be swap stalker.

Part of their image here is that they are "made in Great Britain," as the cover of the tin states.  My British ex-boyf had never seen them in Merry Olde England and also thought it was hilarious that we call you "Great Britain."

Oh, and Nush, I saw your pic in another thread, and I just wanted to reach through the screen and hug ya!  You're adorable!

how exciting!! i can't wait to get started, although i'm probably only going to stick with one partner. i don't want to overwhelm myself and stray into flaker land..
that's so weird that altoids aren't sold in the uk.. maybe that's another item i can add to my package for my upcoming swap

Um, yes. No one here really calls it GB. Well, apart from old fascist BNP members* who go on about ruling Britannia and kicking out all of us coloured trash. Yeah. It's mostly just the UK now.

 But altoid tins? The first I heard of them was here, on Craftster! You Americans....
