that's a fine decision to make because you are the mod and a lot of people were crying and moaning about them. But what about the penis holders, crocheted penis' etc. I find them far more offensive than the cute little roach clips. They aren't appropriate for the craftster friendly under 18 crowd either

The thing is that penis holders are not related to illegal activities.

What about the bit about young impressionable craftsters? I'm sure mommy wouldnt like them seeing that stuff either. I'm not trying to argue I just think its a bit of a double standard.  A beaded clip? terrible. A beaded crocheted cock? Fine-just-fine. And pot isnt illegal everywhere and isnt even illegal all over North America but I'm not getting into that debate here. Leah has to do what she has to do to keep craftster rockin...

As far the legalityof weed, we're going by what is legal in the USA, where Craftster is based.Leah & the mods have  deeply discussed this issue, and this is the best compromise that we could come up with. I'm sorry if crocheted penises offend you.

Well censorship is a hard one.  I saw the clips and they did not offend me, nor did the way she posted but I did not read the follow up discussion.  It was art, but I agree with Leahs decision on this, best for the community at large I think.  You are doing a great job Leah, I don't know how you do it.

reminds me of a Sylvester Stallone movie - he was in the future and they had sex through a headset - they thought it was gross to touch each other - too funny - I can't remember the name of it though..... Huh

A sound choice.  It makes perfect sense to me, and I'm not offended in the least by the subject being banned.

I wonder if I can ask a quick question, though?  In what way, if at all, will this effect other posts that have been around a while, particularly one or two I remember regarding crocheted or embroidered or otherwise crafted cannabis leaves?  I'm curious, because of course these are associated with drug users, but hemp, which has the same leaf and the industrial use of which is something of a socially impactful topic, can also be implied with that symbology.  What I'm trying to say is, will the intent of the topic define whether it will be allowed to stay?  Say a person crochets a hemp leaf out of hemp twine as a statement about the agricultural and industrial benefits of hemp and the legalities involved in hemp as a cash crop in the US, will that be allowed?

I'm actually just asking to satisfy my own brain.  Because technically, even as an agricultural crop, used for cloth, rope, paper, etc., hemp is still illegal in the US as far as I know, but it is also not a drug and is a cause in which many people are politically active.  So, I was wondering if a distinction would be made.

Edited to add:  Inna, that was Demolition Man, and he was having (or going to have?) headset sex with Sandra Bullock.
