I was so confused at first I thought the bottom one was the revamped top one- and it didn't make any sense to me! Especially why she would add a commercial looking label.

Sucky Purse doesn't suck anymore!!  Norsgoebel worked wonders with my boring beige-and-brown number, turning it into "medieval shabby chic."

Yes, I'm teasing you horribly by posting this without a picture... I'll take one tonight and post, unless Nors does before I can get to it.  You'll love her work!!

And this is the end result. I had a great time redoing and hope that the smell of paint and sealer has dissapated from Eva's purse.  I aired it out for a day before I sent but smells like that tend to hang around...

Sure doesn' t suck anymore.  I love the gold curlicues, and the key theme.  Very nice work.

Isn't it great??  She didn't even know how infatuated I am with dramatic-looking keys.  There is a tiny key on the zipper pull and on the zipper compartment inside.

Because I mentioned I like Wild West - and because this bag could easily have gone western, before Norsgoebel's flash of inspiration - she sent me a little Lone Ranger holograph card (the kind that changes pictures when you tilt it):



Nors, it doesn't smell from the paint/glue at all.  Don't worry about that!  The cross-country trip seemed to do it some good, and it's feeling fresh and ready to help me haul my junk around.

I found that I still had a shot of Nors' purse interior saved, so just for the heck of it, here it is...

norsgoebel, I love what you did with that purse!  Very clever and your little curlycues look perfect.  All the added keys, etc. are a wonderful touch.  The dye seemed to work well, I never would have thought of that.  Bravo!

Bigmouth's purse is on its way.  I hope she loves it, I was happy with the end result.  Maybe she will find it on her doorstep tomorrow.  I could kick myself though.  I made a lovely hairbow and forgot to mail it.  If you get a lumpy envelope next week, you'll know who it's from!

thanks, actually I just used acrylic with fabric medium added to it.  Easy peasy lemon sqeezey!
