I was wondering if anyone had attended or sold things at previous art fairs during the Linden Hills Festival that happens annually in the spring? I received a notice for applying for a space for the sale happening this May at Linden Hills Park, and was just wondering if anyone was familiar with it and would be willing to reply with some info about what type of things are usually sold there, if it attracts a lot of people, or any other information about the experience of attending/selling? It has a $50 booth fee which seems great if a lot of people attend, but I'm a bit nervous never having attended if the things I make would be appropriate, or if its a more country-style-crafts kind of situation.
Thanks,
Oona

I am doing the art fair, though I am sharing a booth with a friend to split the cost.  I'm thinking positive about it- it's not the "county fair" crowd, and they should be pretty receptive to newer styles and designs.

Did you end up applying?

I ended up applying for Art vs. Craft in Milwaukee and thought three things so close together may drive me over the edge, and I might be going out of town that weekend, but I know some cool people that think its aces, so it should be a great time. Good luck with your booth and I'll tell my friends to stop by and buy stuff if I'm not able to be there to drag them by in person--

I just looked at your Etsy store, and I think your stuff would go over well. Smiley
