Yaye! I started this a few days ago, and have been working on it a ton...
It is probably the nicest thing I have ever sewn!
I wanted to make a clutch-like, old-fashioned wallet, so I could feel like a hip old granny (I'm only 21, but Grannies are my fashion idols.) I think I might hold a country costume ball in my back yard in the spring time.

I "plasticized" the fabric using acrylic gel, so that it is shiny, and sturdier, and collaged on some cut-out flowers.
There is tons of space for money and credit cards and receipts, and the coin purse is fully lined (with un-plasticized fabric) and zippered!

Here are some pictures of it.

I'm thinking of selling it, and I might make another one with different fabric.
Thanks for lookin', ladies and gents!

That wallet / clutch is way cooool. I love the wood grained fabric. This is crazy fancy compared to anything I could sew. I like the acrylic gel too, great idea, did you coat it before or after you sewed?

Very nice.  Grin

I really really really would love to have Interweave Knits Spring 2007 for those Eunny Chang entrelac socks. . . Does anyone want to swap for it?! I have yarn, I can sew, embroider, knit.

I got the fabric at a quilting specialty store, and I coated the fabric in acrylic gel before sewing.
Thanks for all the comments, ladies!!
