Ooh, congratulations! I want a handfasting sometime in the next few years, so it's always interesting to hear about others' experiences.

I would be up for a general pagan or mini-sabbat swap....whichever was the more popular.  I had a great time crafting for the first pagan swap and would love to do it again.

Let's do another swap closer to Beltane then. Isn't it Samhain for the southerners? It's late and I can't think too much. What if we started the swap Mid-March and had some time to converse with partners before sending out.

What kind of theme should we have? Of course the holidays are great, but like Nushybum said, some people aren't holiday people. We could pair holiday people up with holiday people and general people up to other general people to appease everyone. There could be a question regarding who you'd like to send to or who you'd like to send to you.

As for amount of stuff to make and send, should we say to send a small kit to our partners? For the holiday people, maybe a few small kits or one larger one. The kits could include some candles, incense and/or oils, herbs, spell sheets, tokens, crystals, rocks, Tarot pictures, etc. For the general people, just a package of stuff that would be useful for their altars and worship places.

Sounds fantastic Pixieskull.  I could go either way with either a sabbat kit or a general kit myself.  I'm just so excited about another pagan swap starting up.

I'm thinking of starting signups now and ending them about March 26th. Sound good? I'll get the particulars written out and such to post the signup. I'm thinking the sendout date should be before the last few days of April to allow packages to reach their targets before Beltane is gone. Sendout April 26th to give a week and a few days. But if you're sure your package would take a while to reach your partner, send out earlier.

I'm very excited about this swap!

ETA: Did you guys know that there are groups on Meetup.com for pagan get-togethers? I'm so stoked that I found two groups in my teensy area. It's exciting and my first meetup is April 1st :S
