I live on Elmwood, not far from Allen. I just graduated from Buff State and FINALLY have some time to craft. I jsut find it hard to get motivated lately since none of my roommates are really into crafting and try to convince me to do other things instead. If there's anyone not far that wants to meet up for company while crafting message me! I need a buddy to help motivate and craft with me.

I've been DIEing to go to this cut little coffee shop thats on Grant called sweetness 7 cafe and craft. It reminds me of all the coffee shops I've been to in NYC. If anyone is in the same boat and wants to meet up definitely message me adn we can work something out!

We're neighbors! haha. I'm a little farther up, between Summer and Bryant.

I know not having a car can be difficult, I juat got one after years of relying on the metro. And what a pain that was. Well I mean I dont mind taking the bus. Sometimes it works out perfectly, but I work out by the airport and getting there was NOT fun.

Anywho, a good friend of mine is just started at Canisius yesterday. Hopefully you had a good first day!

I did!  Things were crazy for me personally since my bathroom was in the middle of being gutted, which is not something I wanted to deal with while also getting ready for school.  (especially after being out of school for almost eight years!)
I'm astounded by the differences between canisius and where I went before, UB.  The classes are SO much smaller.  But because of that I also feel like the old lady on campus.  I swear, I was the only person over 20 in a couple of them, much less over 30.

I know what you mean about the metro.  I used to work at Ingram and that was a nightmare to get to without a car, even with the airport/downtown express.  Canisius isn't bad, though.  And parking there is so rough it's easier to take the metro- I end up walking no more than I would if I drove.  (plus, free NFTA pass for students! Woo woo!)

I am new to the Buffalo area.  I live in Williamsville.  So far all my crafty friends are still about 900 miles away...    I would love to meet some new crafty friends here in the B-lo!

So far I've only been to JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby, and the Goodwill on Transit.  Are there any other good places to get fabric?
