I wish we could organize a big craft meet, and form a crafting club that eventually can hold swaps and even someday pool together to have a craft show somewhere. I'm from Amherst, by the way, a bit past a mile from University Train Station, and I go to Buff State four days a week, including the weekend so I'm typically the near Elmwood area.

Seriously, would anyone be interested in legitimately scheduling a craft meet? Huh We could each bring something we've made we love, something that's a work in progress, notebooks if we have any to pass around, a small fee (5$?) for food or just meet someplace big enough. I'm so jealous of the cities that have this huge craft clubs and have contests and swaps. I'd love to just once be able to bring all the crafting supplies I have and will never use, and trade with other people, or trade items I've made with others. Or have auctions of things and pay with supplies instead of money lol.

Anybody with me? Cheesy

I'm from West Seneca and just found this awesome website.  Anyone from Buffalo still around?  I'm planning on spending a lot of time at the park with my 2 year old and would love to have some other knitter/crocheters around....
