well, she was having a tarot reading, so it was closed.  does anyone have any ideas of a churchor community center or somewhere to meet? i like the idea of a coffee shop, but maybe somewhere else would be better for a variety of crafts.

i didnt make it either...  i think a coffee shop is a good place to meet.  is there a general area that is preferred?  i am in the buff state area, and i know that wegmans lets you sit and have coffee.  i've sat there for at least four hours, lookin at my laptop and having coffee.

there is a bagel jays on delaware, romeo's bakery cafe on hertel, starbucks on delaware and kenmore or even a tim hortons.  just throwing stuff out there...

I go to school in Buffalo (Canisius).. So, where are all the good fabric/craft hookups? I know there's a huge Joann's out Niagara Falls Blvd. Anything else? Thrift stores? I'm still discovering the city.

another bead store on sheridan near Evans/Hopkins (i think).
a fabric store on Elmwood near Bidwell.
you'd be surprised what you can find at the dollar stores for craft items
amvets on Elmwood near hertel

Anyone else live on the west side? I'm on Breckenridge near Richmond. I'm always looking for a partner in crime  Smiley None of my girlfriends like to do serious scavenging but it's my zen happy time.

Shocked  how could I forget FWS?  It's right around the corner from my house.  I'm ashamed of myself.

Sugarm0mma - I used to live on Breckenridge near Baynes.
