Those are pretty awesome ... as in pretty AND awesome!  Grin

I like the black/grey one ... cool idea. I might try that - especially now I've got so many magazines after saving up for the handbags!!!!

Here's mine!



It's tall and skinny, probably because the slats were so thin, only 1/2 page each and folded lengthwise instead of diagonally.  It's made of pages from Spin and Rolling Stone that I originally cut up to make a magazine purse, but grad school seems to have shrunk my attention span.  
I tried with an old calender, but the slats from that seem too thick ... I'll have to try a normal magazine next!

I absolutely love this!  It would be super easy to modify (like making a lid) and turn te process into all sorts of things!  Coasters, trays, paper plate holders, the list could go on and on.  Now, to find those magazines....
