One week into crafting time - how is everyone doing? I know there is lots of time until mail out, but just wanted to check in. Smiley

i'm almost done with what i originally planned to make, which means im going to end up making more, because i get bored easily and i like crafting for others way more than crafting for myself.

I have a couple pretty firm ideas, and am waiting on a PM from coyotelady with a few extra questions.

So true! That is the great thing about swaps - you get the best of both worlds!

I too made a trip to the fabric store last weekend. Hope to start crafting this weekend!

BUT we are on the up and up, and I am training for the olympics so my swap bag is DEFINATELY going to be full, I have so many things I can do and want to try to do! I am starting this weekend! I just wanted you to know I was here, please don't fret! I am still in the game!!!

Hi everyone!

I have updated the first post on this thread with a list of who has responded to the check-in pm I sent out today. If your partner's name is pink, that means that they have been in touch with me and you may go ahead and send their package.

Official send out date is Feb 20. Please let me know if you don't think you will be able to make this deadline - if there are enough people running behind, we can extend the deadline by a few days to avoid putting "sent late" in the swap feedback.

Please pm both the organizer (me) and your partner when you send out. Don't forget to include your delivery confirmation number in that pm! Failure to communicate with the organizer will be reflected in your swap feedback.  Embarrassed Thanks!

Now that the business stuff is out of the way, how is everyone doing?  Smiley

Yay! Everyone has replied to the check-in. If people are ready, they can go ahead and send out as they please (be sure to let both me and your partner know - also, don't forget your DC number!).

Anyone who has not yet completed their projects (*raises hand*), don't panic yet...there is still a week before the 'official' mail out date.

Plenty of time!  Wink

Seriously though, if you feel you need an extension, let me know and I can bump the send out date back a bit (not TOO much though...that wouldn't be fair to those people who pushed to be ready to send out by Feb 20). Being that we all have kids, I'm sure that everyone realizes that crafting cannot always be the number one priority...that sometimes you have to work or study or...oh yeah...PARENT!  Grin

Happy crafting!
