Defining my generation
«

SOOOoooooOOOoooo... I knitted myself a scarf. It's inspired by that Final Fantasy scarf that was made a while ago... Except this is Super Mario Bros. 3. I made it a few months ago, but I just got a digital camera, so I couldn't show it until now! So... Here ya go.
There's fleece sewn onto the back to make it really really warm. And I love it.

That's so amazingly cool, you don't even know. I know some people who would just die if they saw that, then they would ask me to make it!

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I like it because I get to feel instant camaraderie with anyone who compliments it.
As for the charts... I'd really have to dig in order to find them, if they still exist. If I find them, I'll post them! But... It is pretty easy to draft your own, because Nintendo games are so pixilated, so yeah. The hardest part is putting it into a rectangular grid.

Uhm..... I just searched on Yahoo and Google images. Generally searching for specific names is best, like "tanooki suit." Honestly, you may not want really "good" images, because they go into detail, and that is just a pain. The images that I used were actually really small. I have no knowledge at all of picture size, but full size, on my screen they were about half an inch big. I would use Photo Editor and scale it up. When it did that, it made all those little pixils muchn bigger. After a few trial and errors, you can get the pixil squares to be about as big as the grid. So... That was a lot of rambling. Did that help at all?

Eek! I love it! You've inspired me.
Too bad I'm not allowed to buy any more yarn until I finish at least some of my projects that are still on the needles.
Maybe I have the right colors in my stash...hmmmm.
