The bag is really cool!  Great size and shape, gorgeous tree...

My mum is the biggest LotR fan in the house, so I'm knitting up the tree for her.  (She just wants a panel that she can crochet out from to make a shawl.)  The tree is white with a silver strand running through it, on a deep hunter green background...and I'm about half done.

Good on you for sharing the beautiful bag...and many thanks vicariously to Flannigan  Smiley

Amazing bag!  I  just better not let my dad catch me reading this or he'll want one too!

On second thought, I could get a head start for Christmas... Smiley

I LOVE this bag. Your felting is great and I had an idea to take and embroider the stars with silver floss to add sparkle for folks who didn't want to knit in sparklies. Besides, I'm an avowed crocheter and beader...BEADS!

Thx for the chart, too. It's my next project!

NOW, does anyone have a Rohan Horse head in a chart?

That is seriously cool.  DH liked it a lot as well.  I wish the chart was true to size it would be fun to try.  Is it fair isle or intarsia?

Most knitters drink tea or coffee whilst knitting..... I drink bourbon.

I don't know - I think i did fairisle because i didn't use bobbins.  i don't really do colourwork though so i'm not toally sure.
