So, I've been bored to death during winter break, and I decided to busy myself with more patterns. I made this same exact skirt for my mom, but she didn't want to model hers tonight. I forget the pattern that I used, but I am almost positive it was Simplicity.

The front, with my fun cowgirl boots.

Side...

And back.

For this skirt, I used a tweed. It's a fun fabric, but a pain to work with. My mom used the same pattern view, and used a similar fabric, so we'll match when we wear them. Hopefully I'll get her to model it within the next few days.

This is a great skirt!!!
Do you mind me asking what size you made it in?  It's hard to find realisitic pics instead of the drawings on the pattern pages.
I sew mine in size 20, pattern size.
Just curious!

Where'd you get 'em?

I got my boots at The Naturalizer. I don't know if it's a big chain, but that's the place.

I, too, love your skirt.  Great plum color with the hot pink--very "in" this season!  I love the cut and style of the bottom of the skirt.
