Have seen bowling balls turned into a gazing ball and would love to make one.  Does anyone have instructions.  Do I need to do  anything to prepare the bowling ball before I add the glass.  How do I seal up the finger holes. Actually, I am using small pieces of mirror.

Thanks,
Rose

i may have done mine the lazymans way out, but i just used a little sandpaper to rough up the surface so the paint would stick (i painted mine, then glassed over the top), and put the finger holes on the bottom so they dont show ....

I have one that I used outdoor grade silicone to put flat marbles on...and made it to where the holes were on the bottom...it has been outside for over a year and looks great
