Lets see if I can actually post one of my pictures. If this works, I will put the rest of them up as well.

Charlie-- all beautiful. Well worth the wait and I'm glad I could help.  What is chalkboard fabric?

WOW-charliebrown!  Those look fantastic.  I love your birdhouses and the fabric in your friendly hand block is really interesting.  It looks like your finished quilt is going to have a nice flow to it as well.

Thanks everyone. Chalkboard fabric is fabric you write on with chalk, just like a chalkboard in a classroom. It's pretty funny because last summer we went a little crazy with chalkboard paint and now we have chalkboard fabric. I have a chalkboard painted in my dining room that we use as a message board and my son has almost one whole wall of his bedroom painted in chalkboard paint.

This is a confession, folks.  I'm cheating this month.  I'm 38 wks pregnant with my second kid and scrambling to finish a bunch of projects before the chaos descends.  As a result, I just can't tackle these May patterns that require paper-piecing and actual concentration.  Instead, I'm redoing the January blocks in the opposite color schemes.  Stay tuned for my out-of-sequence depression and balkan puzzle blocks coming soon!  And thanks for understanding.
