Thanks for the welcome, crazy bc jen. I got most of the squares done over the weekend, turns out I didn't print out the instructions for one of the blocks so I will have to do that one later. If I can figure out how to do it, I will get my pictures posted by the end of the day.

So, I got my pictures from the digital camera to my desktop, but don't know how to get them from there to here. I will have to wait for my kid to come home one of these weekends and educate me. (How dare he grow up and go off to college - LOL). In the mean time, I love scrolling through and seeing what everyone else has done and can't wait for the May squares.

wow, this might be just what I'm looking for.

I was considering trying out my first quilt but didn't quite know where to start.  I'm thinking after my exams finish (3 weeks tomorrow, yipee!) then I will maybe try and play a little catch up!  This seems like a good place to start, as from having a quick glance through the thread there appears to be quite an accumulation of very knowledgeable quilters that are more than willing to help, which I will probably have to draw on seen as I haven't tried quilting before.

Roll on 3 and a bit weeks and then I can hopefully start

by the way the quilt blocks I have seen are absolutely gorgeous   Smiley

Okay girls, you motivated me to try another block Wink

Here's my April...feel free to think it looks disgusting like certain un-named people around my house, LOL, but I like it! Yeah, perhaps I should have dispersed all my fave patterns with some more plains but what the hey, at least I kept it to all warm colours Tongue hehe

It's not disgusting - it's colorful!!!!!!  and color is good!!!!!!

In the middle there's a piece of fabric that looks like it's watermelon and ants - I would love to see a larger piece of this fabric, it looks neat.
